The ramblings of a man crazy in love with Jesus, who is blessed to pastor youth in rural Connecticut.
About Me
- Nick
- My name is Nick Ford. I am a pastor in my home town of Stafford,Ct. I was raised by two amazing God loving parents, who always told me about how much Jesus loves me. I came to know Jesus as my personal savior when I was eight years old and for the next seven years God slowly worked on me until brought me to the point where I wanted to be all in for Jesus. So as a sophmore in high school I dedicated my life to Jesus and its been a wild ride! When I was a senior in high school God called me to ministry so when I graduated I attended Word of Life Bible Institute for one year. And was then called back home to work as a church intern in a local church in my home town. Following my internship year God brought me across town to another little church in need of a Youth Pastor.I have only been here for little over a year, but God has done some amazing things in me and through this ministry. We have a long way to go and a lot of growing to do. But God has blessed this Rural Youth Pastor, and I hope he'd use me to be a blessing to you too.

God is SO Good!
Sorry its been so long guys but ya know college can be busy from time to time. So let me catch you up on some high lights from the best following months. Sadly my dear Auntie Mona passed away during the fall of 2010, I was a wreck when I found out she was passing but then me and my room mate just prayed aw man God is just SO amazing he is that peace like it says in Philippians 4:7 "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Ever since me and my room mate prayed I couldn't shed a tear for her passing because something just so amazing happened. My Aunt Mona trusted Jesus Christ as the Lord and Saviour of her life. My parents pastor just sat and talked with her and led her to the Lord it was so amazing seeing the change in her. She wasn't afraid to die anymore she had hope, she had Christ. So when she went home to the Lord all I could think was you beat me there Auntie M she you by the throne soon. Man and on top of that a couple of months later I got to see my young cousin at the New Years party at Hope Springs except Christ ah her saviour and man it has just been great seeing my family become my eternal family. To God be the Glory!!! And God has just been pounding me into shape these past several months, ever since he freed me from the thorns of worldliness an I have been giving it all to him truly he's grown me so much. Some times there are spiritual growing pains but there only showing that God truly does love me as it says in Hebrews 12:11 discipline never feels enjoyable at the time but it grows us to be more like him. And just today I had to rejoice in how great God truly is. This snow camp weekend I've been slacking in my time in personal fellowship with my Messiah. And just I was broken hearted at how cold hearted I was. So today after the meeting ended I just sat for a couple extra minutes and prayed and man God renews us so much when we go to him. Like it says in James 5 the prayers of the saints are powerful. I mean wow God of all creation hears are pleas and answers them this is the promise he has given us. How cool is THAT! And as I was sitting in line waiting for lunch renewed in spirit because of Gods grace I opened to Ephesians 1:4-5 and man this is reason to rejoice! " According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love. having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself , according to good pleasure of his will." Ephesians 1:4-5. Man our God is SO Good!!!!!!
